Daffodils and tulips are prematurely blooming on Mendenhall this late March. And while it’s hard to knock warm afternoons for long walks and patio gatherings, one wonders how hot Christmas and Easter will be in years to come. Spring weather is calling for fresher ingredients and new (and welcomed) flavors in the kitchen. Picnic Salads, Spring Rack of Lamb with Pistachios, Deviled Eggs and Sweet Pea Crostini with Salty Prosciutto are a couple of my favorite Spring time dishes that come to mind.
