I think we can all declare that it’s officially soup season. So, here’s my advice:
Save a lazy Sunday for staying at home in your PJs and making homemade chicken stock. I use Ina Garten’s chicken stock recipe. In addition with fuzzy slippers, a fire in the fireplace, a lot of Netflix, it’s actually pretty therapeutic – just trust me. At the end of the best day in a long time, you’ll end up with about six quarts of the most delicious broth freeze and cook with all season long. While I typically use it up for soups, it’s a GREAT addition to any risotto recipe too.
