I know it’s Monday, but we’ve got to be thankful for something on these hot and humid days. And, the heat is bringing out the best of summer tomatoes. The farmers markets are full of cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes and all kinds of heirlooms. I love them with with fresh basil, good olive oil, sea salt and pepper. You can always dress them up with vinaigrettes, avocados, onions, other herbs and salad mixes. Bottom line is, don’t miss the season. And be thankful for it.
