This weekend, I celebrated the first day of Hanukkah with a “Happy Everything” celebration on Mendenhall. My friend Jessica, who I addressed as the “Chair of Tradition,” helped me design a menu that was authentic enough for her but modern enough for me. It truly was a celebration of everything though – with Jessica’s menorah on the dining room table shadowed by my Christmas tree. In the light of Happy Everything!
