Last year I reported on one of the best fundraisers I’ve been to – Triad Local First’s Community Table. We went on a hayride through a beautiful farm and dined together at a long dining room table. You can see all my photos here. Many commented on my post wishing that they had been there – and I didn’t blame them. Well, it’s your time. The 2nd Annual Community Table is scheduled for Sunday, October 7th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. This year’s event will be hosted by Sherrie and Harrison Stewart on the “Farm off Church.” The event will be catered by my very talented friend Chef Reto. And, I hear they may have fly fishing demonstrations on the pond.

Consider coming out to this fantastic event. The proceeds go towards Triad Local First’s effort to build a strong local economy and a vibrant, unique community. Who can argue with that?
