Olive and Goat Cheese Crostini

It seems the more it heats up — the more I slowwww downnnn. I napped frequently this weekend between moments with friends. Only the temptation of a cold glass of rose and local goat cheese could lure me from a snore. Here is my recipe for this kind of living. The hardest part of this recipe is placing the black olives strategically so they don’t  look like the summer cockroaches you’ve had nightmares about.

Recipe for Summer with an Olive and Local Goat Cheese Crostini

Take a variety of your favorite olives.

Pitt them. Dust with fresh orange zest.

Nestle them on top a crunchy piece of bread and a slather of local goat cheese.

You might drool over an oil cured black olive with orange zest on Triple Heat Goat Lady Dairy Cheese.

Pair with chilled crisp French Rose.

Enjoy. Chat. Laugh.

Resume the snooze.
