My good friends at Triad Local First, who work to keep our dollars at home and provide much-needed support to locally owned businesses, are putting together a beautiful looking dinner on Sunday, October 2nd from 4pm to 7pm at Summerfield Farms. Because my two favorite restaurants in the Triad are catering the event (Iron Hen Cafe and Southern Roots) and because I wholeheartly support the mission of Triad Local First,  I must share the details! Everything is being generously donated to make the event happen – from the food, band, farm to the decor – and I hear there will be a hayride from a Bradshaw Orell Interiors designed barn to an Outstanding In the Field-like table setting. If a beautiful Fall day on a Farm with delicious food, drinks and friends sounds too good to be true – add tax-deductible to the list.
