Before you ask yourself – Why is Mod Meals on Pennsylvania Avenue in a Charlie’s Angels pose? – let me explain. First, this was the exact pose a small family was doing five feet down. Second, this weekend my good friend from college Beth and I drove up to our nations capital to visit with my good childhood friend, Beth. Confusing, on the “Beth” front but very simple on the food front – delicious. Just focus on the details – which is a whole lot of food. From Friday Night Korean BBQ and Karaoke to stalking DC’s hippest Lobster Roll Truck, eating bacon lollipops at Founding Farmers and veggie chili cheese fries at DC’s most established Ben’s Chili Bowl – we attempted the trendiest food stops (including a forfeited visit to the 2 block line at Georgetown Cupcakes) in the capital without a visit from the defibrillators.
