Coffee is a really big part of my days and my kitchen is full of coffee apparatuses. We are lucky because the folks at Keurig are rolling into the greater Greensboro area to promote their coffee machines! Keurig is the nations leading single cup brewing system. They offer over 250 coffee, teas and hot chocolates varieties in their K-Cups. They brew in less than 60 seconds with zero clean up! I love using this system because of the speed and small portions. I use them for my single cup in the morning and when entertaining (who wants to brew an entire pot of decaf for just one person!).

Since coffee and breakfast go together – here are some of my favorite breakfast entertaining recipes. Check them out and plan your next breakfast or brunch celebration – Labor Day is coming up!

  1. I love to go to Spin class at the gym, shower and get dressed then eat my breakfast of cottage cheese, toast, an apple and green tea prior to getting the children up and ready for school.

  2. Favorite morning routine? Well, my wife Megan is not a morning person. So I wake up when she does and while she gets ready, I come down and fix her coffee and usually fry an egg and toast a muffin to make her favorite egg and cheese muffin. Then I pack it up and put the coffee in a travel coffee cup and send her off to work.

  3. Favorite morning routine: coffee + Ezekiel Sesame Bread w/ extra sharp cheddar & fried egg + more coffee (LOTS more coffee!)

  4. Every morning, a mosquito lands on my arm, which I instinctively slap. After shaving, I slice up some ham and cook it on the stove. I then crack an egg and cook it sunny side up. To get the day going, I grind up some coffee beans and put them in my french press. For juice, I slice up a blood orange and put it on the juicer. I then floss my teeth, tie my shoes very tight and put on my outfit before heading out the door to Miami Metro PD.

  5. Love that Keurig has the capability to make hot tea in addition to coffee. My 87 year old aunt loves her routine of hot tea every morning and in the evenings. I love the convenience of Keurig! Can’t wait to try to Sweet Brioche Bread Pudding recipe with a cup of hot tea! What a treat!

  6. My favorite routine is grabbing a cup of coffee, putting my throw over my lap, and pulling up to the computer to start my day of work. There’s nothing like a warm cup of coffee in a chilly office to help get you going.

  7. I get up around 6:30, take a shower then grind a little bit of coffee, add it to the espresso maker…while that is brewing, I heat up a cup of milk in the microwave…it takes exactly 2 min and thirty seconds…then I add the coffee to make a wonderful cup of cafe au lait. If the weather is nice I sit outside on my back deck, drink my coffee and take the morning in…listening to the birds and the sounds of the city coming to life.

  8. I get up in the morning and start my coffee brewing first thing! Then, I have a cup in silence before I wake the kids for school. After taking them to school I have another cup with my breakfast.

  9. Use a Flavia coffee maker to start my day……coffee and oatmeal and the News and Record……would love to switch to a coffeemaker that is so much easier to get coffee pods for !!!!
    Pick me..pick me :-)

  10. I like to wake up early and get to school early so I can have a few minutes to collect my thoughts before my students arrive. A keurig for my classroom would make it even better.

  11. I would love to win a Keurig! My favorite morning routine includes scrambled eggs for the kids, Greek yogurt for me and coffee or got tea if there is enough time. Most everyone in my extended family has one already. My oldest daughter loves the hot chocolate! I love the convenience!

  12. My morning routine usually consists of me having coffee with a cat in my lap, while the little one catches an episode of Cat In The Hat. Then TV goes off, we have a little breakfast, then head outside. No complaints!

  14. I’m a country gal, so it’s nothing like waking up every morning and preparing some bacon, sunny side up eggs, grits, toast and of course some freshly brewed coffee. My grandmother did it every single morning and now I follow suit. #goKeurig

  15. hmmm, my favorite morning routine? coffee and Bailey’s. kidding! I’d have to say a travel mug of Tim Horton’s coffee (which my family mails to me from Buffalo-its the BEST) while I wait with Savannah for the school bus. I bet it would be much better with a Keurig!

  16. I love going to friends houses and they pour me a good cup of coffee from their keurigs. I have been dying to get one! We went today to exchange at the park but they were out :( maybe next time

  17. I like a big country breakfast some days and my trail mix and hot tea on others. I wish I had my brother’s Keurig for myself. That’s the last time I buy one for someone else for Christmas without getting one myself.

  18. A good morning for me is one when I don’t have to get up and go, go, go. I can actually sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast, vs, enjoying them in the car on the way to work!

  19. Grabbing a cup of coffee to drink while driving to work is how I start my breakfast. When I arrive to work, I usually eat a cup of Greek Yogurt. I have a Keurig and love it, my Mom gave it to me for Christmas…she always thinking of others before herself and and always buy the best gifts for others I would love to win a Keriq so that I can give it to my Mom and perhaps she can enjoy her Keurig just as well as myself. She then could enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Keurig coffee while feasting on baked eggs, sausage and mushrooms.

  20. My Favorite morning routine is to nurse my 5 week old, then read my bible with a cup of coffee then have a good breakfast with my 2 year old when she wakes up :-) could ask for anything better!

  21. My favorite morning routine is when I’m able to wake up naturally, go in the kitchen and the dishes have been done before, and start up some pancakes, bacon, and some coffee!

  22. My favorite morning routine is to get to wake up naturally, walk in to the kitchen and the dishes are already done from the night before, and then start up some pancakes, bacon, and coffee!

  23. My morning routine includes a nice stretch and bound out of bed to head to work. I’m thankful for my husband’s quick scrambled eggs, bacon and toast to satiate my tummy on my hour commute to Durham. We would love to win a Keurig brewer!

  24. My morning routine includes a moment of devotion between myself and God, to thank him for all He’s given me and then I get a glass of juice and then jump on Facebook/Twitter/Gmail to get my day started! I include coffee only if I am required to be awake before 10am :)

  25. My favorite morning routine is watching the news in bed with a bowl of cheerios and a cup of coffee. My last few minutes of quiet before the craziness of life begins.

  26. My favorite morning routine is a newly acquired one. Earlier this week I adopted 12 finches. This week, I’ve been waking up to their sweet chirps, and after I refresh their food and water, I sit in front of their cage with my coffee in hand, and watch them flit around to eat and take baths, and build up their nests. I even discovered that one of them is a juvenile! He turns his head upside down and begs for food; four of the other birds were kind enough share some of their prechewed millet. I look forward to many more mornings of quality bird time with my little peepers.

  27. My husband and I are retired, He drinks decaf and I drink regular. this would be the perfect solution for us.
